Starting in December, 28 hand-selected Hoosier artists begin work on eight-foot-tall basketballs that are displayed during All-Star weekend, mostly downtown
NBA All-Star weekend festivities are in full swing as we head into Saturday.
Tonight there will be a skills contest, two 3-point contests and a slam dunk contest. There will be plenty of representation from Indiana Pacers stars like Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner and Benedict Mathurin. Halliburton will participate in two events.

The first round went to the Pacers and included a fun play by Tyrese Haliburton to end it.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver doesn't appear ready to support a rule change in Indiana Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton called him “stupid.”
Before this season, the league instituted a rule requiring players to appear in at least 65 games to be eligible for postseason honors, including All-NBA. If Haliburton makes the All-NBA team — and as a starter in Sunday's All-Star Game, he appears to be eligible — he is eligible for an additional $53 million in his contract extension.
Haliburton missed 13 of the 17 games allowed, and he told the Old Man & The Three Podcast with former NBA player JJ Redick that he “no doubt” felt a sense of urgency when he returned from his hamstring injury on Jan. 19. Out of the five matches after this appearance.

Thomas thought it was a mistake. In an NBA segment on TNT with Reggie Miller, Thomas and Bird, the former Detroit Pistons star spoke about being let go more than 20 years ago.
