ATLANTA — The Atlanta YouTube star and social media influencer has passed away after suffering an epileptic event, according to her family.
The Daily Mail said Annabelle Hamm, 22, was visiting friends near Fairhope, Alabama, when she went missing on Saturday.
She is last seen walking along a wharf. Her body was found Sunday, according to the Fairhope, Alabama Police Department.
Her sister is Amelia Hamm Instagram took over to announce her death.
“Sometimes I don’t understand why God does things, but I can’t even express how hard it is. You would never think something like this could happen or could happen to you until it did. Annabelle was a good sister to Alexandria, and I. She was amazing. She went to Many places seen and many things done,” she wrote. “I know she always wanted to live life to the fullest, and that’s what we need to do now. And I know she’s dancing in heaven right now. I can’t wait to give you a big hug one day.”

In a statement obtained by the Daily MailAnnabelle’s family confirmed on Monday that she died of an epileptic seizure.
“We write this with heavy, heavy hearts. Annabelle went into epilepsy and went to the gates of heaven,” the family said. “She struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness of it, which we will be doing in her honor.”
Annabelle was a student at Kennesaw State University, and her sorority released a statement on her death saying she was “cherished by all who knew her.”
“Annabelle led a vibrant life, bringing smiles in every situation,” the post said. “Our brothers are utterly grieving for the Ham family and for the beautiful life that was so tragically cut short.”
The social media influencer is best known for her videos on life as a college student, makeup tips, and shopping.
She had more than 73,000 followers on Instagram and 77,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Her fans have left messages of condolence for Annabelle since learning of her death. To date, the details of the funeral have not been disclosed.
