A third annexation plan in Quebec, promised by the Legault government during the elections and then backtracked after coming to power, before being approved again last week, is robbing the premier of all credibility, according to factional committee members. Explorers’ Joust.

After a report by the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec infra (CDPQi) confirmed that a third link between Quebec and Lévis was not justified, the CAQ government’s new argument to finally move forward with the project is now “based on economics. Defense of the Capital-National Region.
