A 75-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed early Sunday morning in Brochard on Montreal’s South Shore, a boulevard used by motorists to accelerate and rev their engines.

“We moved here in April and since then we’ve always heard people using a lot of gas,” says Jeremy Chang, who lives with his partner and daughter. We listen in the morning, afternoon and evening.”
