In the last 24 hours, the number of hospital admissions in hospitals across the province has increased by 20 to a total of 250. Of this number, 85 patients are being treated in intensive care, an increase of 7 over the previous day.
This is more than double what Quebec recorded two weeks ago. In fact, as of Sept. 1, 137 new people had been admitted to the hospital, 42 of whom were in intensive care.
Currently 6,480 QBs are affected by Govt-19.
Screening activities are continuing at this time in the area where 30,326 samples were taken on September 13 (positive rate: 2.5%).
Since the outbreak, there have been 399,843 confirmed cases in the province.
The number of infections has dropped from 563 a week ago to 444. In contrast, there are more cases associated with each eruption.
