Mr. St-Pierre Plamondon will hand over nearly 1,000 Quebec passports on Friday afternoon at Bourget’s Riding, where he will run as a candidate for the next provincial election.

The party’s decision comes ahead of the current situation where Quebecs have been queuing for days at federal offices, especially on the Guy-Favreau campus in Montreal, to obtain their passports.

“I say to the people of Portgate: Come today and get a Quebec passport! It’s free, and you don’t have to camp or pay for federal incompetence, “Paul Saint-Pierre Flamonton said in a statement.

“By distributing Quebec passports, I hope people from all walks of life will start a discussion on the legitimate idea of making Quebec a country,” he said.
