Harassment in Beauport: Three individuals identified

The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) has finally identified three suspects who terrorized a family in Beauport at night by ringing the doorbell, armed with a stick and with their faces covered.

A complaint was lodged at the police station.After three people came home around 2 a.m. on Aug. 27, with footage from a surveillance camera.

This was the second “visit” in a few days.

The images were aired in the media to try to identify criminals who were particularly coerced and eventually turned away.

The SPVQ pointed out that they could face charges of criminal harassment, trespassing at night, mischief, carrying weapons for a dangerous purpose and wearing disguise.

“Three suspects have been identified during the investigation. So it’s ongoing,” the police confirmed in a press release on Wednesday.

However, it is not yet known whether they have been arrested or will face justice.
