Source tells CNN Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady 'live apart'

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady, who currently plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and his wife, Bündchen, a model, are dealing with “marital issues,” according to a source close to the couple.

Another source close to Bundchen told CNN that the two “live apart.”

CNN has reached out to representatives for Brady and Bündchen.

Brady, 45, had retired from the NFL in February, only to later reverse that decision. He took 11 days off training camp in August to “deal with personal matters,” according to head coach Todd Bowles.

In an interview with Elle magazine Bündchen, 42, said, published this week, that she has “concerns” about her husband returning to the field after he initially retired last winter.

“This is a very violent sport and I have my kids and I would like him to be more present,” Bundchen told the newspaper. “I’ve had these conversations with him over and over for sure. But in the end, I feel like everyone has to make a decision that fits [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”
