Lynne Goodman says goodbye to ‘Dancing with the Stars’ after 31 seasons as a judge.
The long presence on Monday’s episode of the dance competition revealed that he won’t be returning for season 32.
“While we are all excited and very much looking forward to the finale next week, it will also be with a touch of sadness and this will be my last season judging by ‘Dancing with the Stars,'” the 78-year-old said.
“I’ve been with the show since it started in 2005 and it was a pleasure to be a part of such a great show but I decided to spend more time with my kids and family.”
He continued, “I can’t thank the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ family enough, it has been a great experience for me and I am very much looking forward to next weekend, and I’m sure it will be absolutely amazing.”
After the emotional declaration, the hall expert said, a Known for his harsh criticism, He was met with a standing ovation — and praise online.

Goodman started as a lead arbitrator on the original UK version of “DWTS” called “Strictly Come Dancing”.
He judged the show in its first 20 seasons before taking a break for season 21 and season 29. However, he’s been an integral part of every season in between.
