Cyberpredator arrested in Montreal | SPVM is looking for victims in other age groups

According to the Service de Police de la Ville de Montreal (SPVM), Antoine Abcy, who was arrested on October 20 on eight counts against minors, may have had other victims. The cyberpredator would have even tried to meet his victims.

The SPVM is looking for the victims of Antoine Abcy, who was arrested on October 20, two days after the arrest warrant.

The 21-year-old faces eight charges, including “enticing, making pornographic images and inciting sexual contact with boys between the ages of 12 and 16,” the SPVM said in a statement.

The cyber predator was already arrested last July for possession of child pornography.

He used mobile apps and social networks to contact victims under the aliases “A_A2022868” and “Allya_xox”. Montreal police wrote that he first approached them “pretending to be a young woman.” The young adult insisted on sending “candid” photos and videos with his targets.

Antoine Abcy even asked young boys to “engage in sexual acts”. He would have even moved to meet his potential victims.

Investigators with the sexual exploitation unit have reason to believe the Montrealer may have had other victims in Quebec. Authorities are therefore appealing to any victims or witnesses to the cyberpredator’s criminal activities to come forward to the police.

The SPVM points out that information can be shared anonymously and confidentially through Info-Crime Montreal.
