A Montrealer who allegedly caused the death of a loved one during a violent road trip in Montreal North is now facing charges of drink-driving and dangerous driving.

“He drove his motor vehicle dangerously to the public and caused the death of Adrien Cabello”, could read the summons sent to Jose Daniel Cruz Goses a few days ago, but which was made public in a Montreal court.
Cruz Goches, a 33-year-old Montreal North resident, allegedly committed his crime in the early morning hours of April 2, 2022. A lengthy police investigation followed, involving reconstruction experts and biological analyses. A year later, the Crown felt they had gathered enough evidence to charge Cruz Goses.
He now faces four charges of dangerous driving causing death and impaired driving causing death.
Cruz Goses, who has a criminal record for identity fraud and assault with a weapon, has already spent a few short stints in prison.
