Google’s Pixel phones always have great wallpapers. The first few generations were blown away by the live wallpapers made in collaboration with studios like B-Reel and ustwo, and more recently Google has released some awesome static wallpapers made in collaboration with various artists. Now, thanks to a source within Google, we can share our brand new Pixel 8 wallpapers. Scroll down the page for all the wallpapers and a link to Drive in full-res versions.
We’re also able to share a range of colors for the upcoming Pixel 8 series, though it’s important to note that at this point it’s entirely possible that not all of these color options will make it to mass production or be widely available. Furthermore, the color names listed below are internal only and are unlikely to exactly match the names used in final marketing.

Google Pixel 8 wallpaper themes
Since the Pixel 6 series in 2021, Google has released a cohesive set of wallpapers for every different phone color — wallpapers have become, in a way, an extension of the phones physical appearance. In the case of the Pixel 6, the theme was floral motifs in a group called “Bloom,” which matches perfectly with the bright case colors and Material You. For the Pixel 7, it was “Feathers,” which completed the series’ more professional look. These two kits were created by Andrew Zuckerman, a well-known filmmaker and photographer, who some of you may also recognize from the Apple Design book released in 2016.
For the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, Google has once again decided on the task Andrew Zuckerman with creating their backgrounds; The topic is “Metal”. You can see them all below in the Pixel 8’s wallpaper gallery, or download them unzipped for yourself here.
