Chicago police officers, including at least one armed with a shotgun, responded to a false report of an active shooter at the United Center, cutting short a concert by rapper Lil Durk on Saturday night.

The venue said in a statement on Sunday that the United Center is working with authorities to investigate the show’s incidents.

“It became clear to all participants that ending the show early was in everyone’s interest because the safety of our guests and staff is a priority,” the United Center said in its statement. “We are grateful that the initial reports of the accident were wrong and that the guests left the facility safely.”
