Mr. who was a minister in the Morris government. Blanchett is stepping up pressure on Conservative leader Erin O’Toole’s debate over guns, which could affect his election campaign.

The latter promised to maintain a ban on assault weapons, although his campaign platform is marked in black and white instead.

Invited to comment on the press melee in Sibugamu, the constituency chairman Yves-Franசois Blanchett recalled events that took place exactly nine years ago in the Montreal metropolis. On September 4, 2012, PQ leader Pauline Morois, who was elected prime minister, escaped the footage of Richard Henry Payne, who turned one victim into a stage technician.

“In the context of the gun file, I would like to mention that this is the ninth anniversary of Paulin’s attack on Marois,” Mr Blanchett said. After a long silence, he continued: “I call on the parties to really consider the necessary steps.”

The Black leader promised that his party would play a pioneering role in the issue of gun control, unlike its Liberal and Conservative opponents.

He called for compulsion to retrieve assault weapons in circulation. The “conversion of the Liberals to this action” was delayed, he lamented.

In addition, Mr. Blanchett demands “clarity” from Erin O’Toole.

The Conservative leader said he would maintain a ban on assault weapons, but instead said his campaign platform “Bill C-71 (on guns) and May repeal the executive order. 2020”.

The Liberal government’s May 2020 executive order banned the possession of nine types of “assault-style guns.” The rucker used in the Polytechnic massacre is on the Mini-14 list.

However, Black maintains that the ban on a total of 1,500 assault weapons is “flawed” because many assault weapons are completely legal.
