Lizzo dancers are expressing their support for her after a lawsuit was filed against the singer by three of her former tour members.

Dance troupes “Big Grrl” and “Big Boiii” shared a message on the group’s verified Instagram, writing that they “had the time of our lives on the private tour,” which Lizzo wrapped up this summer.

Their message continued, “We are very honored to share the stage with such an incredible talent.” “Committing to character and a culture that takes precedence over every move and moment was one of the greatest lessons and blessings we could ask for. Thanks Lizzo for breaking down the chains and kicking a way in the door for Big Grrrl & Big Boiii Dancers to do what we love!”

Three former Lizzo dancers filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, obtained by CNN through plaintiffs’ attorneys, alleging that the three women experienced a hostile work environment and harassment while working for the Grammy-winning singer.

The complaint also names Lizzo Big Grrrl’s production company Big Touring, Inc. (BGBT) and a person described as a “dance team captain” as defendants in the lawsuit.

Lizzo denied the allegations.

“The past few days have been very difficult and terribly disappointing,” she said in a statement after the lawsuit was filed. Our work ethic, ethics and respect have been questioned. I usually choose not to respond to false allegations, but they are as incredible as they sound and too outrageous to address.”

Among the allegations, one plaintiff said she felt pressured to “explain her weight gain and reveal intimate personal details about her life in order to keep her job” after the singer questioned her commitment to the dance team, according to the lawsuit.

“These sensational stories come from former employees who have publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional,” Lizzo wrote in her response. “I know what it feels like to experience body shame on a daily basis and would never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight.”

In their letter this week, their dance teams appreciated Lizzo for “breaking barriers” in “entertainment and beauty.”

“She created a platform where we were able to balance our passion with a purpose! Not just for us, but for women and all people who are breaking down barriers,” they wrote. “So grateful that the beauty standards and presence on this team go beyond the roof!”
