A terrible tragedy rocked the small municipality of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies in Lanaudière: a father allegedly killed his two children before taking his own life on Saturday afternoon.

“When the mother came to the father of her children, the police told her the news. I heard him scream, an inhuman scream. I don’t think I’ll ever forget him. It’s a heartbreaking scene,” said Natacha Champagne, a resident of the sector.
