Heavy rain in eastern Quebec

Earlier in the day, Environment Canada warned that it would destroy eastern Quebec and coastal areas in the next few hours. Up to 60 millimeters of rain is expected for the fields along its path.

At 6 p.m., the interim report said 65 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Sagune-Lock-Saint-Jean area, in the Saint-Jean-D’Arc. This small municipality was badly affected by the heavy rains at this time.

The municipalities of Boy-des-Chables, Madden and Casapskal all received about 50 millimeters of rain, while about 30 millimeters of rain fell in Rimauski, Caspe, Boy-Comeau and Boy-Trinidad.

In the evening the organization continued towards the northeast of the province. Environment Canada is still issuing rain warnings at 8pm for several departments in Pass-Saint-Laurent and C -te d’Ivoire.
