There are 480 new COVID-19 cases and five new deaths in Quebec

The number of new cases of COVID-19 in Quebec has dropped since the weekend.

According to data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday, 480 new cases have been reported, while Saturday and Sunday reports show more than 600 new infections each day.

Santa Quebec notes that 348 of these 480 new cases were not vaccinated or did not receive their first dose 14 days ago. Authorities say 124 newly infected people have received two doses for at least seven days.

In terms of deaths, the virus has claimed five new victims in Quebec. We now condemn the 11,420 deaths associated with COVID-19 since their appearance in Quebec.

In hospitals, the number of patients increased from 296 to 290. Santa Quebec 78 people are in intensive care, two less than the day before. 14 people were admitted to hospitals.

The number of active explosions is now 501, five times higher than the previous day.

As of October 10, a total of 21,735 analyzes had been performed. The positive rate was 2.3%.
