Murder in Vanier: Second suspect arrested

Quebec police have arrested a second suspect in last week’s murder of Alain Charbonneau in the Vanier sector.

After the arrest of the candidate’s brother Eliot Kamun Star Academy In 2021, another 37-year-old Charles Kamoon was arrested on Monday afternoon.

Investigators met with the man in question and his file will be handed over to the director of criminal and penal cases on Tuesday, says David Poitras, spokesman for the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ).

He may appear in a Quebec court during the day. However, his involvement in the murder case needs to be clarified.



Elliot Kamon has been charged with the second-degree murder of 50-year-old Alain Carboneau.

Recall that Alain Charbonneau, 50, was killed following a home invasion at his apartment on rue Proulx on October 23. Another 59-year-old man was injured in the incident, but his life is not in danger.

According to our information, the case of illegal drug smuggling had the appearance of tragedy.

Elliot Kamoon, 27, was charged with second-degree murder in the case. He will appear in court again on November 14.
