Kit Harington says his fame from the hit HBO series game of thrones It caused him to suffer from mental health problems and alcoholism.
He speaks on the wellness podcast Hidden 20%Harrington said he entered rehab in 2019 for alcohol addiction, and was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) while there.
“I realized my life depended on this,” he told host Ben Branson. “Fortunately, it was the right place at the right time. I was able to forge a new life from there.”
Harrington claimed that he “walked into rehab drunk, woke up there, and said, 'This is not you guys in a circle.' No, thanks.'”
Harrington eventually went to a second rehab facility, where he was made aware of his ADHD.
“I left that very quickly and said, 'I'm going to try to deal with this myself,' which didn't work after about four years,” he said.
Harington says now he is “sober and present,” and focused on his 2-year-old son and 6-month-old daughter. He shares his children with them game of thrones Co-star and wife Rose Leslie.
“My head wants to go to everything else in the room at once,” he said, adding that he sometimes “won't calm down” when playing with his young children.

Harrington “tried to project this image of absolute sophistication and calm about what I was doing, but I was actually kind of terrified by the whole thing.”
This led to a downward spiral as it came to a close.
“This is very dangerous, because you find all the bad things people say as well as the nice things,” he said.
HBO is reportedly considering a Jon Snow spinoff.
Delivery time He stressed that the project is still in its exploratory stages. If the series comes to fruition, it will tell the story of Jon Snow, aka Aegon Targaryen, in a post-Westeros era, and Harington is expected to reprise his role.
