A new documentary about Wendy Williams It's worrying fans – because it seems to suggest that she's been having a lot of financial difficulties, among other issues.
First trailer for the Lifetime doc – “Where's Wendy Williams?” – dropped on Friday… and shows the reclusive TV personality seemingly saying she has “no money” before slamming down a throw pillow and letting the tears flow.
Remember… Wendy Williams was placed under financial conservatorship in 2022 after Wells Fargo claimed she was a “victim of undue influence and financial exploitation” — a move her family repeatedly opposes in the clip… including WW's sister who demands to know how She is unfit to take care of her sister.
On the other hand, her son Kevin Hunter Jr He says he thinks she's surrounded by “yes” people in this trailer — people who he says aren't actually looking out for her best interests… so there's clearly a difference of opinion among Wendy's family, at least that's what the doc suggests.
Members of her inner circle are also seen in this trailer voicing other concerns, including a man who confronts Wendy with a nearly empty bottle of booze…and Wendy appears to admit that she fell one day while lying in bed, her bathrobe still on.
Williams also appears disoriented in her surroundings at times in the doc's first trailer… apparently causing people around her to worry that she's losing her memory. Her wide-eyed and sometimes surprising outlook adds more fire to these speculations.
In fact, Wendy's general health seems bad at times too…she's been taken out of the hospital several times in the trailer and seems almost unable to walk on her own when getting out of the SUV.

Ultimately, the trailer seems to end on a hopeful note… Williams appears to express an interest in reconnecting with her estranged family and realizes the damage caused by having certain business partners in her life. The full story is airing in a two-part special on Lifetime later this month…February 24 and 25 at 8pm ET/PT, so more to come after that.

We haven't seen much of Wendy in the last year or so…except for a paparazzi interaction last February where Williams was She claimed she was 138 pounds — the moment shown in the trailer BTW — and some photos of her on the street, mostly stayed out of the public eye.
Wendy pulled out of several speaking engagements in May… before heading to therapy to deal with the issues she was allegedly experiencing.
It doesn't appear that Wendy has addressed what's revealed in the trailer yet — but given that her exit from the entertainment industry was so sudden and tumultuous, you have to imagine people will be tuning in to find out… “Where's Wendy Williams?”
