Samsung is accelerating the global expansion of mobile AI by enabling users to experience Galaxy AI on previous models

Samsung Electronics today announced the availability of the Galaxy AI phone¹ Features available on more Galaxy devices with the new One UI 6.1 update designed to democratize mobile AI. The update will be available across the Galaxy S23, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series, starting from the end of March. In line with the recently launched Galaxy S24 series,² This update elevates the mobile AI experience for users with a hybrid approach that combines on-device AI and cloud-based AI.

More Galaxy users will now be able to take advantage of the communications-enhancing Galaxy AI features available on AI-powered models. Features include the ability to set the message tone and translate messages in 13 different languages ​​with Chat Assist.³ Galaxy users can experience the power of real-time interactions with live translation,⁴ Which provides voice and text translation of phone calls. With Interpreter, users can also engage in spontaneous conversations with locals while traveling as the split-screen feature creates text translations of live conversations.
