Montreal police are looking for a suspected hit-and-run. He reportedly left the area in late April after a road accident in which a child was injured.
The Collision Investigation Unit of the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) is attempting to identify the suspect and locate witnesses to the collision.
A child was injured during the incident on April 28 in LaSalle borough.
The victim was allegedly struck by a dark gray Mazda CX-3 near the intersection of Rejean Street and Dollard Avenue around 3 p.m. The fact that the driver left the scene before police officers arrived indicated the police force.
“The SPVM is trying to identify the occupants of the white Honda Civic that was traveling near the incident and the owner of the black Tesla that was parked on the side of Rayjane Street near Marie-Claire Street,” the SPVM said in a press release.
