The woman was last seen on Caribou Road leading to ZEC Rivière-aux-Rats. Since then, extensive research has been carried out in an attempt to locate her.

SQ confirms that teams on foot, cavalry and sea were dispatched throughout the weekend in an attempt to locate M.me materials. The research was carried out in the same forest north of Lac-Saint-Jan.

The police force indicated that if there were no developments by Sunday afternoon, the search would continue throughout the day on Monday.

Quebec Association of Search and Rescue volunteers have also been mobilized for the operation in the forest.

An SQ spokeswoman pointed out earlier this week that time was of the essence in the search as Larry Despiens was in the jungle without water or food.

The woman was wearing black pants and a white sweater with red sneakers when she went missing.
