According to Global News, Vancouver police are investigating the incident near 4th Avenue and Arbudus Street.

“I was shocked. I saw blue and yellow. You know what fun? I am Ukrainian. My family is currently in Ukraine. I’m trying to bring children closer to the border, ”said Natasha Kovalchuk, a member of the community center group, who said she did not believe such a thing could happen in Canada.

Mrs. Kovalchuk recalled that the center welcomes and serves people from many nations. He said that although it was aimed only at Russians, it was unacceptable to target the company by the actions of the Russian government.

Vancouver police said an investigation was underway and no arrests were currently being made.

The incident comes just days after the Russian Orthodox Church in Victoria was vandalized with red paint.

Note that these events occurred when Ukraine and Russia were fighting after Putin tried to occupy its neighbors.
