Rumor: Switch Online Leak reveals unreleased NES titles, here’s a look

It’s been a totally crazy week for Nintendo Switch Online With a series of leaks and rumorsAnd it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In the latest development, footage of unreleased NES games for the Switch paid subscription service has now surfaced via an online leak.

Below is a side-by-side video comparison of the current and “master version” version of the NES Online app (via Twitter userorcastraw). As it turns out, there are all kinds of additional games included here like tetrisAnd backmandouble mega man Games and other titles like Castlevania. There are also a number of additional “SP” games on offer.

The catch is that this is a build that apparently dates back to October 2019, meaning there’s no guarantee that Switch Online subscribers will necessarily see these games available on the NES app in the future. Of course, this could also be a reveal of the games coming to the service in the future.

Nintendo is currently focusing on monthly N64 releases, but maybe it could also add these additional games to its schedule. In February, he surprised fans with ground Games on the NES and SNES services.
