Rodriguez tore off a body counter and took it from the body lock. Vergara sprinted to the fence and stand up, Rodriguez still tied up. Two minutes later Rodriguez knees, Vergara punched. they separate. Rodriguez’s body and low kicks, straight away Vergara left in response. A quick kick landed in Rodriguez’s favour. Vergara continues to advance two minutes before the end.

Rodriguez teep and low kick. Vergara’s hands left. He denies the removal, and eats up the narrative. Another right and a blow by Rodrigues. Long combination, low kick. They are trading rights before a minute has passed. Both hit the body. Good low kick from Rodriguez. Kick the body and check the hook. Heavy counter 2-3 absorbed by Vergara. Body kick behind Superman’s punch is missed. Vergara’s body kick. Go upstairs. 10-9 Rodriguez.

Round Two: A hard kick from Vergara, who tackled a podium takedown. They scramble and settle on top in sentry. one minute in. Milling against the fence. Not many shots yet. There are some cute elbows. Two minutes in. Still throwing scattered elbows. Two minutes to go.

Rodriguez offers nothing of his back. Vergara continues to work from the escort. Move the patch to mount as it takes the back. A huge stampede of Rodrigues to land on top in the guard. The elbow is good before they are back on the feet. The fist rotates back, the elbow does not rotate. Good left hand Vergara. 10-9 Vergara.

115 lbs: Ariane Carnelossi vs. Loopy Godinez

Round one: Godinis tugs her onto the rug after grabbing it early, then trips over it when she’s standing. Carnelusi looks to stand with the lower hook and Godins is looking for her back a minute later. Carnelusi tries to move forward with her fist on Godens’ leg but is unable yet. Godinez got her over the fence two minutes later. short shots. Agate stands, screwed down. Back up, retract from locking the rear chassis. Two minutes to go.

Godinez is looking for an arm triangle, the fence is in the way. She drops him, and takes punches and elbows. One minute left. Landing from half guard. 10-9 Godinez.

Round two: Carnelusi pushes forward, eats a physical kick. Godinez’s tough right hand stings Carnelossi and follows her up with a heavy group before pulling her down to lateral control. Hard elbows. Carnelusi turns on her knees for a minute. Knees to the body from Godinis, one hook in, now the other. Short punches. Half guard for two minutes. Solid elbows. Looking to attack the far arm. Two minutes to go.

More punches from Godins. From the cradle to the back turtle try the arm triangle. It’s at the rear but it’s stuck in a half-guard. One minute left. Carnelusi moves her head and tries to sit in the removal position, but she eats an elbow. Godinez is looking to reclaim the back of the front lock. Carnelusi stands at the bell. 10-8 Godinez.

Round Three: Two-legged from Godinez to lateral grips. Back turtle, landing punches. one minute in. Carinilusi rolls to the knee, denied. More excellent control by Godinez. Carnelusi punches her back, sitting on the fence. She stands, touches a kick, hits the rug for her problem. Two minutes to go.

Punches falling Godinez from the low mountain. Heavy elbows in half guard. Strong balance. One minute left. Carnelusi turns on her knees and tries to cross. Brutal shots of Godinez on the way and another takedown. 10-8 Godinez.

135 lbs: Newson’s Journey vs. Fernie Garcia

Round 1: Newson kicks to start. A side kick to the face lands him, then a hook kick. A quick exchange in the middle after a minute. Newson tries to spin again. repeatedly. Check the ground hook for Garcia to answer the knee flight attempt. Two minutes later. Garcia swings a pair of hooks, lands the check hook, and is lowered. Uses the fence to stand up and breaks Newson’s fist to break off. Newson’s low kick, Garcia’s right cross. Two minutes to go.

Counter hook drops again from Garcia to answer 1-2 attempt. Newson’s body kick, Garcia’s low kick. One minute left. A short three-lot plot of land for Garcia. A solid side kick back at him. Newson’s lead hook, head kick shorts, low kick doesn’t. The interactive shot was denied, Garcia couldn’t find one either. 9-10 Garcia

Round 2: Newson’s early combo, eats body right in return. Low kick, lead to the right. Sneaky hook and low kick. One minute inside. Garcia hits his low kicks and retracts the side kick. Newson tries some front kicks. Teep land, and kick the wheel no. A good set of Newson and Garcia’s legs bobbing for a moment after two minutes. The low kick connects. Garcia is not close enough. Side kick from Newson, avoiding a left hook in turn. Two minutes to go.

Newson goes for the low kicks. Heavy rebounding on the right from Garcia, his best shot of the round. More kicks from Newson. One minute left. Newson continues to strain him. Low and body kicks from Garcia, a powerful blow behind them. Newson with a forward kick from a plane that appears to be landing. Another side goes down to the basement. 10-9 Newson.

Round Three: Newson continues to send kicks. Solid leg kick. Solid double leg, looking back. One hook up against the fence, he drops punches. Garcia stands up and separates a minute inside. Big whiff on the right hook. Garcia is ahead and not really throwing. Two minutes in. There is a mix. Newson kicks and spins and often avoids fire. Two minutes to go.

Newson’s low and side kicks. Quick left hook, eat leg kick. Good driving right. Garcia-Body kick, Newson Gap. One minute left. Rotate the back fist and side kick. Tough low kick. Garcia tries to intervene and swings too hard with his right arm. Newson remains patient. Another good leg kick, then a clean wheel kick that hurts Garcia again. 10-9 Newson.

End result: Newson defeated. Garcia by unanimous decision
