A designer checks into a mental institution after an incident in which he exposed himself on a plane

Rapper Desiigner says he checked himself into a mental health facility after an incident where he exposed himself on a plane.

Sources said the 25-year-old musical artist TMZHe was on an international flight last weekend when he revealed himself.

The Brooklyn, New York-native flight attendant, who was on a US-bound flight from Tokyo, was blamed for the incident, insiders told the outlet.

Upon landing in Minneapolis, the designer was questioned by police in connection with the incident and released.

Insiders told the outlet that the panda performer, whose full name is Sidney Royle Selby III, was prescribed medication for an illness and “believes the medication caused some kind of chemical imbalance.”

The designer took to Instagram Stories Thursday with a statement explaining the health issues that preceded what happened on the plane.

“For the past few months, I haven’t been feeling well, and I’ve been struggling to adjust to what’s going on,” he said. “While I was out for a concert, I had to be hospitalized, and I wasn’t thinking clearly.”

The rapper said he was given medication and had to “hop on a plane home” shortly thereafter.

“I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane,” he said of exposing himself on the plane.

He said that after he returns to the United States, he checks himself into a “facility to help” with his problems.

“I will be canceling all offers and any commitments until further notice,” he said. “Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If you are not feeling yourself, please get help.
