A fire broke out in a computer room at Charlesbourg High School in Quebec. The fire quickly spread to the top floor and building, causing significant property damage.
About 70 firefighters were dispatched to the school around 6:30 p.m. The room where the fire broke out is located on the second floor and the fire is spreading to the third floor of the building.
Black smoke billowed from the building and blew out some windows, but firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control. At 8:30pm, the operations manager announced No chance of getting worse
of fire.
At least two premises have been damaged by fire.
According to a spokesperson for the Quebec Fire Protection Service.
The Quebec City Fire Service dispatched several firefighters to the scene.

Maintenance workers were in the building at the time of the fire, but all were evacuated. No one was injured or made uncomfortable by the smoke during the event.
The Fire Commissioner visited the spot and investigated the cause and effect of the fire. The cause of the fire could be electrical leakage.
