Dominique Blanchett, who has been arrested since her arrest in May, already faces multiple charges including trafficking in sexually explicit material, assault and sexual harassment, and making and possessing child pornography.
While a 27-year-old man was initially arrested for facts related to the first complainant, four young women have since come forward.
According to our information, as the police investigation and computer analysis continue, it is not impossible that the teacher of the Adélard-Desrosiers elementary school created others.
In May, Montreal police indicated that the accused “may have worked at more than one school.”
The period of the offenses spanned from September 2017 to his arrest on May 28, 2022.

On Thursday, Blanchette faced new charges of sexual assault, solicitation of sexual contact, and solicitation of sexual contact. All three counts target the same victim, but the victim has already been identified.
A hearing on his bail application will be held at the end of August, but the prosecution is opposing his release, said Crown attorney Annabel Shepherd.
