A man in his 50s is between life and death after he was found unconscious at the Berri-UQAM metro station in Montreal on Sunday evening.

At 6:30 p.m., the Montreal Police Department received a call reporting an injured person inside Entrance Hall C, located in the Place Dupuis shopping center near Saint-Hubert Street.
The man was still unconscious when emergency services and police arrived; He was taken to hospital where his life is feared.
According to witnesses met by the SPVM, a man in his twenties tripped the victim, who then lost consciousness.
The suspect fled before police arrived.
A crime scene was established at the site and the SPVM is treating the case as a serious attack.
Investigators are checking surveillance cameras, interviewing potential witnesses and trying to identify the suspect to shed light on the story.
