“There are six of us. We are going on a ski-doo trip. The next day we’re there and it pops up on my phone: Oh, the MRC (New Pews) mayors’ meeting on Zoom,” he recounts.
Then he adds: “I’m going to insert. I forgot we are in the red zone everywhere in Quebec. You don’t even have the right to see your neighbors. The remaining six of us went to my room in the Sky-Doos.

“Three times the depth of a dustbin”
Eric Duheim, who was invited to comment on this story, launched a scathing counterattack, attacking the CAQ. “Today, we will not accept intimidation The bully That way. Enough of the smear campaign by CAQ,” he took away.
According to him, the CAQ “has a lot of people in our garbage cans. There, they go back three times the depth of the garbage. He was criticized (candidate Dumais) several months ago for being in the red zone, he admitted it because he was wrong, and he himself made a joke of it.
With visible anger, the Conservative leader added, “Mrs (Genevieve) Guilbault, three days ago, was on a plane, wearing a mask (and) against government instructions. On the merits of the story, Eric Duheim confirmed that it was “oversight” by his candidate and not a deliberate attempt to break the law. “He who does not catch fish casts the first stone at himself. He forgot what I asked. Forgetting is not in bad faith.
Cédric Lapointe, press secretary to the Conservative leader, responded with a statement. “Mr. Dumais is an excellent candidate and an existing mayor in his community. We are fortunate to have him on our team. We do not encourage disobedience,” he wrote.
