Scott Berman, owner of Sky Cave Retreats, said Rodgers left the darkroom and facility on Wednesday.
Before entering the resort, Rodgers said on “The Pat McAfee Show” Feb. 14 that he had scheduled four days and four nights in dark solitude and was hoping to “get a better sense of who I am with my life.” Rodgers said he won’t hold back just to see if he plays in 2023 or retires.
Rodgers, 39, is under contract with the Packers for a guaranteed $59.465 million if he plays in 2023. A four-time NFL MVP his entire 18-year NFL career with Green Bay.
Packers president Mark Murphy said earlier this month that there was no deadline for Rodgers to make a decision, but that he hopes to find a solution before free agency begins.
At least one team, the New York Jets, has inquired about trading for Rodgers, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
According to Berman, the 300-square-foot room in which Rodgers spent his time is a partial underground structure devoid of light, with a queen-size bed, bathroom, and meditation-like mat. It is fully functional and can be lit from inside the room.
