A young employee of La Grande Roue de Montreal was injured in the crash, a spokesman for Old Montreal Gravity confirmed.
“He passed away tragically. Our thoughts are with our staff and those close to them,” said Matthew Philione, a spokesman for La Gronde Rou.
Since this is a work-related accident, the Commission on Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST) is currently on site.
The victim’s clothing is in the gear of glamor, revealing a source close to the file. The conductor in charge may not be aware that the employee is busy removing ice from the wheels of the arena.

A call came in at 1:00 pm shortly after the crash. The 22-year-old deceased was a gravity worker located in the old port of Montreal. He was doing maintenance work at the time of the incident.
