Amazon Prime Early Access Deal: Save up to $500 off Samsung Odyssey Gaming Monitors
The Samsung Odyssey G9 It is one of the largest and most comprehensive gaming monitors on the market. It features a massive 49-inch 5120 x 1440 curved screen with a fast 1ms response time, 240Hz refresh rate, and G-SYNC compatibility. It also features a high contrast ratio, good color rendition, and wide viewing angles thanks to the VA panel backlit LED quantum dots.
The Samsung S95UA (The only option other than the Odyssey on this list) is for those of you who crave that massive 49-inch 5120×1440 screen but want to save a few bucks. It doesn’t have some gaming-focused features like 1ms response time, 240Hz refresh rate, or G-SYNC certification, but it’s still a great monitor with 4ms response time, 120Hz refresh rate, and the same backlit VA panel LED with quantum dots. Although it is not officially G-SYNC Certified, like most monitors these days, they still actually work with G-SYNC.
The Samsung Odyssey G7 It features a more manageable but still wide 32-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution. That’s still 80% more pixels than 1080p, but not so high that you need a ridiculously expensive video card to run it. Pair that with a 1ms response time, 240Hz refresh rate, G-SYNC certification, and a quantum-dot LED-backlit VA panel, and you’ve basically got a smaller version of the Odyssey G9.
The Samsung Odyssey G5 And the Samsung Odyssey G3 They are mind-blowing options that still offer features you’d find on more premium gaming monitors. The G5 is a 27″ 1440p screen and the G3 is a 27″ 1080p screen. Both feature a 1ms response time, a fast 165Hz refresh rate, and a VA panel that delivers a solid balance between gaming performance and image quality. These are great gaming monitors that will cost you under $300.
