The family of an American teenager who disappeared in Germany while on a cruise said Saturday he had been found safe – three days after they feared he had been “lured” when the ship docked.

Aiden Brown, 14, was last seen getting off the Caribbean cruise ship Princess in Rostock-Warnemünde — two hours north of Berlin — alone on Thursday morning after an argument with his grandmother, Fox News reported.

“We are happy to find Aiden Brown safe and sound.” The cruise company told NBC News on Saturday,He added that the teenager returned to his family.

“We express our sincere gratitude to the German authorities for their rapid response and exceptional efforts in locating Aydin after he landed in Warnemünde last Thursday morning.”

Local authorities released three photos of Brown during their search. Two of the photos were from surveillance camera footage that showed the teen talking to an unidentified man before the two walked toward the Warnemünde church, according to NBC News.

Police asked the man to inform them during the search, but it’s unclear who he is or if he helped find the Texas boy safe.

Before he was found, one of Brown’s cousins ​​said the family believed he had been “lured” by a stranger.

“My worst nightmare continues. Aydin is still missing. It seems that once he left the ship in Warnemünde, Germany, he may have been lured away,” Anne Yaktiyol wrote on social media.
