Accused of altercations with Houston Crowd

Anita BakerMughniyeh’s recent live show sparked some controversy after she angered an audience in Texas – and parts of it were captured on video.
The legendary singer was performing at the Toyota Center in Houston on Friday night and playing to a very large crowd… but at certain points during the concert, AB seemed to get a little into it with some people in the front row .
There are two videos, in particular, circulating online at the moment – one of which shows Anita telling some people below her near the stage that… Stop recording …in the middle of the song.

I’ve been there so I’ll talk. People kept rushing the stage and interrupting her and security was allowing this to happen. I would have done the same thing bc they were ruining the experience for other people who paid money too. It was a sold out arena and couldn’t let everyone run

Overall, this seems to have left a bad taste in people’s mouths – with some complaining online that Anita was more interested in arguing with a few ticket buyers than doing the best job she could on stage. Others claimed that she sounded like she missed some lyrics… and claimed that her performance overall was relatively short-lived and somewhat sloppy.
Now, there are a few people defending Anita… saying that the people in the front row were, in fact, acting out and testing AB. Others said the overall performance was great.
Of course, the larger background to this is Babyface runner It was earlier this year while she was on the road — where she got into the Twitter sphere with him and his fans.
Anita has another show tonight in Dallas, and is coming to Cali next for her final two shows. Hopefully you can come out strong — looks like the ride was a bit bumpy.
