Ariana Grande returned on Friday (January 12) with her late '80s-inspired single “Yes, And?”

The upbeat, confident song serves as the lead single from Grande's upcoming seventh studio album, which she began teasing online in late December.

The song is based on a cheeky title, where Grande sings about healing and being done caring about other people's projections. “Yes, And?” she asks again and again, imploring listeners to question why they care so much about commenting on her life — and to hopefully reduce such behavior in the future.
