At least 10 killed in stabbing in Saskatchewan

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Melford, Saskatchewan, issued an alert on Sunday warning residents of two dangerous men suspected of being behind a series of stabbing attacks against members of James Smith’s Cree Nation.

According to the RCMP, the knife attacks left multiple victims in multiple locations, most notably the Cree nation of James Smith and Weldon. According to initial reports, the victims may have been attacked randomly.

Authorities are trying to find the two suspects, Damien Sanderson and Miles Sanderson.

In an update issued at 11:45 a.m., the RCMP said they received information that the suspects may be traveling in the Arcola Avenue area of ​​Regina in a black Nissan with registration number SK 199 MPI.

Damien Sanderson is 1.73 m (5 ft 7 in) tall and weighs 70 kg (155 lb), has black hair and brown eyes.

Myles Sanderson is 1.85m (6ft 1in) tall and weighs 91kg (200lbs) with black hair and brown eyes.

RCMP are asking citizens to stay safe at home and be wary of strangers trying to get back into their homes.

She also asks the two suspects not to approach or hitchhike strangers.
