Aubrey Plaza spouts an angry line during his “White Lotus” speech

Aubrey Plaza was caught “upset” angrily talking to herself after the cast of “White Lotus” won the 2023 SAG Award for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series.

During Sunday’s award ceremony, the cast gathered on stage to accept the final award of the night with F. Murray Abraham giving their acceptance speech.

However, as the Parks and Rec alum was standing next to Megan Fahey, Theo James, and Will Sharp, John Grace could be seen grabbing her by the arm and whispering in her ear.

The actress — who played Greg, Jennifer Coolidge’s villainous husband on the hit HBO series — apparently implied she was about to suffer a wardrobe malfunction, prompting her to immediately adjust her dress before returning to Abraham’s.

But the 83-year-old actor, sending prayers for earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey and prayers for peace in Ukraine and Russia, suddenly shouted “Union forever!” That made the audience cheer.

Plaza, 38, then watched the actors congratulate each other before apparently speaking the phrase “Jesus Christ.” However, it was not clear whether or not she was reacting to Ibrahim’s speech, referring to Greer wearing her bottom clothes, or any other situation.

Along with Sharpe, she was one of the first actors to leave the stage after winning big.

After this moment, Twitter users were quick to catch the mood of the actress.

“What was bothering her?” One person asked while another asked, “Why was Aubrey Plaza so mad at winning the White Lotus? #SAGAwards.”

third person pointed out“On another note, has anyone noticed Aubrey Plaza? She looked really pissed off… There was something real weird about her on stage with the White Lotus cast. She even walked off the stage quickly and lonely instead of staying with the cast.”

and a Fourth commented“Well, what’s going on with Aubrey Plaza and the rest of the White Lotus crew? She seemed to have realized she was there and immediately ran off the stage while everyone in the cast was congratulating and hugging each other #SAGAwards.”

Amid rumblings on social media, a representative for Plaza did not respond to Page Six for comment.

The “Emily the Criminal” star also appeared on stage earlier alongside “Wednesday” co-star Gina Ortega to poke fun at their similarities.
