Bastion’s OWL skins received a nice update in Overwatch 2’s team-focused cosmetic update.
Overwatch 2 allows players to reenact their favorite Overwatch League teams in the game with team skins included. The branded cosmetics first appeared in the first game but have now received an updated look everywhere for the sequel.
The March 7 update changed everyone’s appearance, but few are more significant than Bastion’s transformation, where he now wears a hat from the leather of any team equipped to his robot body.

The small screenshot in the post shows the Houston Outlaws variation, but each team has one with its own colorway and logo.
To the disappointment of some Atlanta Reign fans, their signature blue cap is not shown, as the leather is equipped with the standard red contrast.

While the reception has been largely positive across the board, one player noted that these resources could have been spent in a better way.

This kind of change might not make a huge difference to gameplay, but the fan reaction to it proves that the community still appreciates subtle changes meant to keep the game interesting.

It’s worth noting that these builds are new to Overwatch 2 and aren’t updates to old skins, so players will have to buy them again if they want to shake their battle bot dad hat.
