Body found in a field in Montérégie: 15-year-old charged with murder

A teenager has been accused of killing two young men when she was 15: the body of one was found in a field in Montérégie in April, and the other was murdered days later in a Toronto suburb.

The Sûreté du Québec believes it has succeeded in solving the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was found lifeless in Saint-Zotique last spring. Investigators initially had difficulty identifying the victim, particularly because of his multiple injuries.

The night before, a surveillance camera reportedly captured an SUV speeding into and out of farmland to dispose of the young man’s body.

A publication ban prevents us from identifying the teenager.

The man, who lived in Provost, Laurentians, had been missing since late March. He was last seen alive in a Montreal metro station three weeks before his body was found.
