“I was recently diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ, which is a form of breast cancer,” she continued. “It’s very, very, very early. It’s technically stage zero.”
The mother-of-two admitted she previously thought that if she was diagnosed with cancer, she would “suffer in silence” and only tell a “small group” of friends and family until she completed treatment.
“The only reason I had this cancer when it was still stage one was because the day I got the text message that I had my annual mammogram, I made the appointment,” Danielle continued. “It would have been so easy to say, ‘I don’t have time for this, I had a mammogram last year, I was fine last year, I don’t need to go again, what are the chances that everything will be fine.’”
Will and Ryder then assured Danielle that they would provide for her in the future. “Whatever your needs are, we’re here,” Will said. “And if you need to miss something or if you need to postpone some things, that’s the last thing you need to worry about.”
We wish Daniel a speedy recovery!
