Browns vs. Score.

Browns vs. Score.

Week 8 of the 2022 NFL regular season concludes with a Halloween game between Cleveland Browns (2-5) and rival Cincinnati Bengals (4-3). Jacobi Brissett and Company are in a four-game losing streak after starting 2-1, while Sensi has won four of their past five games after starting 0-2.

Both teams are dealing with notable injuries this week, as Brown’s side will be without starting guard White Teller (calf), tight end David Njoku (ankle) and corner back Denzel Ward (concussion). On the other hand, the Bengals will not have a star away from Ja’Marr Chase for the next few weeks due to a thigh injury, and it remains to be seen how effective this offense will be without him.

Joe Burrow is 0-3 in his career against Brown, but he’s knocked out two brutal widths—throwing for at least 300 yards and scoring four total touchdowns in each of the past two games. Joe Mixon may be the star of the Bengals tonight, as the Browns allowed 174.5 yards to dash per game and nine sprinting distances during their four-game losing streak. Both rank the worst in the NFL in this range.

As for Brown’s offense, she probably counts on one of the top runners in the NFL. Nick Chubb entered week eight with the most rushing yards (740) and most touchdowns (eight) in the league, rushing for at least 106 yards in four of seven career games played against Cincinnati.

Can the Browns get back on track against a rival, or will the Bengals make Cleveland fans regret passing trick-or-treat on Monday night? Follow along on the live blog below as we break down this match as it happens.
