The Buffalo Bills are the favorites with the oddsmakers to win Super Bowl LVII where victory in the ‘greatest show on turf’ would give the franchise their first Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Last season, the Bills came very close to the championship, but their run ended in the Divisional Round, as they were on the wrong side of a 42-36 (overtime) defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Buffalo, one of the most popular teams in Canada, has a strong roster for the 2022/23 campaign. It is led by their quarterback Josh Allen, a player who is seen as the man who can inspire his franchise to a lot of success in the future.

Allen was drafted by the AFC East team in 2018 in the first round of the NFL Draft. He got off to a slow start in his rookie year, but since then, he has helped them reach the postseason in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
The Bills QB finished last season with 36 passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns. In the playoffs, he scored nine touchdowns in the air across his side’s two games and had an impressive QB rating of 149.0.
Buffalo, the Team to Beat in AFC East
The AFC East has been dominated by the New England Patriots over the last two decades, largely thanks to the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick dynasty. However, Buffalo is now viewed as the leading team in the division.
The Bills open the regular season against the Los Angeles Rams in a game that will test their championship credentials in week one. They are the -2.5 favorites in the Vegas NFL lines to win that game against the defending champions.
Along with tough divisional games against the Patriots and Miami Dolphins, Buffalo face home games against Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns, while they are on the road to Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals.
Sean McDermott’s side went into the playoffs back in January as the number three seeds. They will be hoping to secure the number one seed this season which would give them a bye into the Divisional Round and ensure they have home advantage in every game before the Super Bowl.
Miller Will Give X Factor on Defense
Although Buffalo did not do a lot of business in the offseason when it comes to players arriving at the franchise, they did secure the services of former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller in a trade with the Rams.

Miller won the Super Bowl for the second time in his career when the Rams defeated the Bengals back in February. He was not in Los Angeles for long, but he had a big impact on the team with his experience and quality.
Rodger Saffold has also moved to the Bills from the Tennessee Titans. The Bills have signed the guard to a one-year deal worth $6.25 million. He has played 160 games in the NFL, so he also brings experience to the offensive line.
If Buffalo can win the Vince Lombardi Trophy this season, it will be fourth time lucky in the Super Bowl, as they were beaten in the NFL’s championship game in 1991, 1993, and 1994.
