He remembers Mega Man X Davey for mobile devices? Well, Capcom recently announced that they’re getting an “offline” version, and now they’ve locked in a release date of August 31st on PC and mobile. The online version of the game will also terminate its service at the same time.
Unfortunately, there’s no mention of this platform coming to Switch, but if we hear any updates we’ll let you know. What’s interesting about this is that there was actually a dataminer for the game’s client in 2021, who revealed a “string of strings” that pointed directly to Nintendo’s hybrid system.
Again, this “offline” version is only confirmed for PC and mobile devices for now. It features over 900 stages and over 100 playable characters. Rockman Corner It also notes how this particular version will not include “online features” such as co-op mode and battle mode, and co-op content from other Capcom series has also been left out.
