Twitter owner Elon Musk changed the label associated with the state-owned enterprise after adding “state-sponsored media” to CBC’s account on Sunday.
After calculation Twitter Daily News Noting that the CBC says it is not fully funded by the government, the businessman corrected the report.
The publication said more than 30% of the state-owned company’s revenue comes from advertising.

Pierre Poilievre, leader of the official opposition, was quick to comment on the change noted in the CBC’s accounts.

Recall that the Crown Corporation announced earlier in the day that all of its French and English accounts would be retiring from Twitter.
