Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have secretly welcomed another child via Surrogate

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have secretly welcomed a fourth baby boy into the world via a surrogate. Teigen shared the exciting news with a very touching Instagram post detailing the family’s experience.

Earlier this year, Teigen gave birth to a daughter, Este, but it turns out they were already working with another surrogate when Chrissy was pregnant. Months after Teigen Basti became pregnant, the surrogate mother conceived a boy. Wren Alexander Stephens was born on June 19th.

“After losing Jack, I never thought I’d be able to carry any more babies on my own,” she wrote in the post, referring to the couple’s traumatic 2020 miscarriage. “To be honest, I personally withheld a lot from my mind during that time, but there is one clear memory of being surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I would never go through that pain and loss again.”

She continued, “At some point, early on in our surrogacy journey, I walked out of the therapy session, went downstairs and said to John – I just want to try to get pregnant again. If it doesn’t work out, we’ll be OK. We’ve already seen the worst.” I promised I would be alright no matter what happened. I remember saying I couldn’t keep wondering if I should try again.”

“I lay enjoying my first trimester and of course a little trepidation not unlike any other expecting couple,” she said. “As we were sneaking towards the safe area for my pregnancy, we were thrilled to learn that Alexandra had become pregnant with a baby boy, our little boy.”

Teigen went on to thank their surrogate, Alexandra, and even got involved in naming their son after her. “We want to thank you for such an amazing gift you gave us, Alexandra,” Teigen wrote, along with a collage of photos referencing their surrogate. “And we are happy to tell the world that he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens.”

She concluded, “Our hearts and our home are officially full.” “And to our Jack, we know that both angel kisses from you are from you.”
