Hayter angered the Metal Gear fanbase last month after teasing “this is just the beginning” for the franchise while promoting an upcoming series of retrospective videos highlighting iconic moments from the games.
The short teaser simultaneously announced the release of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 while also promoting Konami’s upcoming retrospective video series, in which Hayter will guide viewers through iconic moments from the long-running franchise.
Now Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 out, thoughts turn to Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2which IGN sources say is in the works and includes Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
While the entire collection will undoubtedly excite Metal Gear fans, it includes Metal Gear Solid 4 This is the most important. The 2008 stealth, action-adventure video game from Kojima Productions has been restricted to the PlayStation 3 since its launch, and with Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. Expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker It was first released in 2010 as the fifth installment of the Metal Gear Solid series designed specifically for the PlayStation Portable. It was later released on PS3 and Xbox 360 as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
Metal Gear Solid 5 It was released in 2015 as Hideo Kojima’s final work at Konami. Kojima made the controversial decision to recast Snake for the game, instead choosing to have 24 star Kiefer Sutherland voice the iconic mercenary, much to the dismay of longtime fans. These same individuals are among the many players who are thrilled to see Hayter return for a more active role in the series he was instrumental in bringing to life.
Is Hayter putting out new voice work? Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2? Time will tell.
