Mongrain would have fled four days later at the side of Laval, the prime suspect in the robbery and weapons possession case.
Armed robbery
He allegedly pointed a gun at a man in the parking lot buying catalyst before stealing his wallet and cash. The three suspects reportedly fled in a vehicle before being apprehended by police. Mongren, however, reportedly fled on foot.
Two suspects, aged 26 and 29, were handcuffed. As a result, the Laval Police Department is continuing to search for the fugitive.
Jérémy Mongrain has a long road map. The daily Le Nouvelliste reported that René was targeted by Kegel because of the theft of $12,000 worth of drugs and money, and instead killed Opile Martin-Syr. Era reported.
The 19-year-old, who knew Mongrain, was Cechlin’s third and final victim during a days-long killing spree in Morrissey in 2018. In this case he was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole for 20 years.
